President Margvelashvili visits Slovakia

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili is paying a visit to Slovakia.

Margvelashvili will meet with the Slovakian President Andrej Kiska at the Presidential Palace tomorrow. After the meeting the two presidents will make joint public statements and answer to the questions of the Georgian and Slovakian media.

In the Slovakian capital of Bratislava, President Margvelashvili will deliver a public lecture on the "Security in the Black Sea Region as a Cornerstone of European Stability" at the Comenius University and meet with the Georgian students.

The following day, Slovakian President Kiska will host Margvelashvili and Chichua in his hometown of Levocha. The two presidents will further go to the Tatry mountain resort where Kiska will share his country’s tourism experience.

Margvelashvili has left Georgia with the First Lady Maka Chichua and the state delegation comprised of the State Minister for the European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Victor Dolidze, Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Jalagania, Head of the National Security Council Davit Rakviashvili, Georgia’s Ambassador to Slovakia Revaz Gachechiladze and parliament members.

The delegation will meet with the representatives of the Slovakian executive and legislative bodies. They will leave Slovakia on May 17.
