Georgian soldiers defeat Britain in friendly rugby scrimmage

The rugby team of the Georgian Armed Forces defeated Great Britain with a score of 22-10 at today’s friendly match in Georgia’s western city of Batumi.

The friendship between the Georgian and British soldiers began in the Helmand province of Afghanistan where both teams have been serving.

The 25-member military rugby team will stay in Georgia for a week.

Georgia’s town of Gori in Shida Kartli will be the next destination for the friendly match between the Georgian and British players tomorrow.
