America Days 2017: Tbilisi hosts Friendship Fair

Are you interested in grants programs, educational opportunities or visitor exchanges with the United States (US)? 

If "yes” you should visit today’s Friendship Fair in Georgia’s capital of Tbilisi.

The Friendship Fair brings together representatives from the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and other organisations that are implementing cultural, educational, agricultural and youth projects in Georgia.

Breakout sessions promise to give answers to the questions of how to find the most suitable American university, what is the most successful strategy for submitting applications and searching for scholarships.

Georgia and US are celebrating the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties.

The event is the part of a two week-long festival of American culture that has already kicked off in Georgia.

A broad range of events are ahead for Tbilisi and four other regions of Georgia: Adjara, Imereti, Samegrelo and Kakheti under the name "25 Years of the US-Georgia Partnership: A Shared Past, A Shared Future!”
