Justice Minister opens 48th community centre in Bakuriani

Georgia’s Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani has opened the 48th community centre in the eastern mountainous Bakuriani region, offering more than 200 public and private sector services.

  • From now on, locals will be able to use services of the Ministry of Justice, Agriculture and Education at the scene, as well as the services offered by the Social Service Agency.
  • Magti and Liberty Bank services, a free computer hall, a library, a meeting room free for locals, a Skype room, payboxes, and other services are available inside the centre.

About ten locals are employed at the centre.

  • Throughout Georgia up to 200 locals are employed at 48 community centres, which have already provided more than 250,000 services.

In the location where the community centre in Bakuriani is now stood an old library building which was in poor condition.

After using the library territory for the community centre, the books were moved to the community centre library, which are now safe.
