Georgia’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released a special statement voicing several recommendations for people to take care against high temperature during the summer season.

NCDC recommends:

  • Those who don’t feel well in heat; have dizziness, weakness, turmoil, strong thirst or headache, should immediately got to cooler place, check temperature and drink cold water or juice.
  • Those who have painful spasm in muscles (especially in hands, feet or stomach) that lasts for more than one hour, you should visit a doctor.
  • Those who have their skin dried out, feel delirious or lose mind, should immediately call emergency service.

NCDC also said the temperature in the building should not exceed 32C during the day and 24C – at night. This is especially important precaution for children and people above 60 as well as those who have chronicle diseases.
