38 Georgians injured in bus crash in Turkey

A bus crashed in Turkey today injuring 38 Georgians. Those injured in the crash have been hospitalised.

A bus carrying members of the Georgian children’s dance ensemble "Lampari” crashed near the Turkish city of Giresun some hundreds of kilometers away from the Georgian Black sea town of Sarpi and Turkish town of Trabzon.

According to the Georgian consulate in Turkey, there are no casualties and all the members of the ensemble are under medical care.

Health Minister of Adjara Zaal Mikeladze visited the children at one of the hospitals in Trabzon. He said the children feel well, but two elderly persons accompanying the ensemble might need surgery.
