Georgia’s Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has condemned the terrorist attack that killed at least four people and wounded many more in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
"The series of terrorist acts have turned into a terrible event hitting Turkey recently,” Kvirikashvili said in his statement.
"I offer my condolences to the victims’ families and friends. I hope the Turkish people will find strength and endure this tragedy.”
The Georgian leader believed the Turkish government together with the international society would stop this "terrible crime”.
A suicide bomb attack at a busy shopping area in Istanbul killed at least four people and another 36 were injured, officials said.
Among those injured 12 were foreign nationals.
The bomb went off near a government building on Istiklal Street.
No one has admitted carrying out the recent attack. Turkey has been targeted by similar terror crimes in recent months.
