By 5pm this evening 767,907 voters throughout the country had cast their vote in the Second Round of the 2016 Parliamentary Elections in Georgia.
At the latest briefing, Central Election Commission (CEC) spokesperson Ana Mikeladze said voter turnout was 30.99 percent at 5pm - three hours before polling stations close across the country.
Mikeladze said the voting process was underway in a calm environment and without any major problems.
The most active polling station was #37 polling station in eastern Mtskheta, where 51.6 percent of registered voters have cast their vote.
High turnout was also reported in southwestern Akhaltsikhe and Adigeni polling stations (46.7 percent) and also in western Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri polling stations (45.7 percent voter turnout).
Meanwhile the least number of voters were detected at #41 polling station in eastern Gori region (17.7 percent) and at #9 polling station in Isani district of capital Tbilisi (21.4 percent).
