Facebook adds khinkali icon to “What are you eating”

Food-lovers around the globe who enjoy khinkali can now let the world know what this Georgian traditional dish looks like, thanks to Facebook's addition of a khinkali icon to its "What are you doing or feeling” section.

The khinkali icon appeared on Facebook earlier this month and it was illustrated by two dumplings, pictured below.

Khinkali, a Georgian dumpling with spiced meat, herbs and onions, is the first traditional Georgian food to appear on Facebook’s "What are you eating” section.

There are many places that serve khinkali across the globe but if a person wants to taste the most delicious, fresh Khinkali, they need to visit Georgia where this traditional dish is served in every corner of every city and town.
