Georgia’s capital Tbilisi will host three European Union (EU) foreign ministers tomorrow.
Martin Lidegaard of Denmark, Grzegorz Schetyna of Poland and Margot Wallstrom of Sweden will arrive in Georgia to express their support towards the country as it moved towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration, noted Georgia’s Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson David Kereselidze.
Tomorrow’s arrival will be the Danish Foreign Minister’s third visit to Georgia in the last 12 months.
"The EU member states’ Foreign Minister’s joint visit is another clear sign of their solidarity towards Georgia,” Kereselidze said.
"Especially, just before the upcoming Riga Summit planned in May,” he added.
While in Tbilisi the high-ranking foreign guests will meet their Georgian counterpart Tamar Beruchashvili, President Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili.
Within the visit Beruchashvili and Schetyna of Poland will sign an agreement to establish Tbilisi Conference; a new format of collaboration that aimed to increase Poland’s role in fulfilling Georgia’s EU and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
