Georgia signs grant agreements with USAID

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is continuing to support Georgia's democracy, accountable governance and sustainable economic growth.

Today the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and USAID signed grant agreements to implement the following projects:

Democratic Control and Balance and Accountable Governance, and
Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth.

The US Government provided $69.3 million USD to Georgia to implement these projects.

The grant agreements were signed by Georgia’s Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri and the USAID Caucasus Director Douglas Ball.

$5 million USAID grant helps disadvantaged groups in Georgia

The United States (US) has allocated about $5 million USD to help people with disabilities, women, youth, ethnic minorities, and disadvantaged groups in Georgia. A relevant agreement was reached between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Georgia’s Ministry of Finance.
