Agenda.ge is celebrating its outstanding debut in a well-known local media skiing competition that took place in one of Georgia’s main winter resorts - Gudauri - on Saturday evening.

Agenda.ge photographer Nino Alavidze and Editor-in-chief Natalia Amaglobeli finished the women’s individual race second and third respectively in the Niamori annual media competition’s 10th edition.

This is their very first selfie taken immediately after the race.

This was the first year the competition was held at night. Artificial snowmakers were used for the competition.

Niamori was organised by Georgia’s Ministry of Sport, the Georgian National Federation 'Sports for Everybody', Mountains Resorts Development and Wissol Group.

Organisers said the competition was planned to become international next year so that any journalist from any part of the world would be able to practice their skiing skills there.

Meanwhile, Tbilisi-based GDS TV channel took first place in the team competition.

Agenda.ge only participated in the individual race as the company had only two participants in the competition, and at least four participants from each media outlet were needed to make a team.

And here are our well-deserved medals.
