People interested in scenography are invited to a unique exhibition at Georgia’s National Gallery this evening.
The Georgian National Museum Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery will host an exhibition of scenography by three Georgian artists – Oleg Kochakidze, Alexander Slovinsky and Yuri Chikvaidze. An opening event will take place at 6pm today.
The exposition was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the three members of the artistic group. The first time the trio hosted an exhibition was in the 1980s.
This time the exhibition will showcase stage and film decorations. Up to 200 exhibits, including illustrations, sketches, costumes, models and posters will be presented at the exhibition.
All the exhibits were from the collections of the Georgian National Museum, State Choreography Theatre, Shota Rustaveli Drama Theatre and the authors’ private collections.
The exhibition will run until December 6.
