Georgia's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has offered condolences to his Romanian counterpart following the deadly nightclub fire in capital Bucharest.
"On behalf of the people and Government of Georgia, I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy and share the sadness of the victims’ families and the Romanian government and people and wish those injured a quick recovery,” said Garibashvili.
"During this difficult time we stand by our friendly Romanian people and we send our sympathy and support to the families of the victims.”
The Bucharest nightclub fire killed 27 people on Friday night. More than 140 people were being treated in hospital, some with severe burns.
Romania has declared three days of national mourning.
Survivors said the fire started after a heavy metal band set off fireworks, causing the ceiling and a pillar to catch alight and produce heavy smoke.
About 200 people were injured in the incident, including from burns and smoke inhalation. Officials said the death toll could rise.
