Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will pay a two-day official visit to Latvia on January 8-9.
Garibashvili will hold meetings with Latvian Government officials and will also attend an official ceremony for launching the European Year for Development 2015.
Latvia’s capital city Riga was set to host an official ceremony for launching the European Year for Development 2015 on January 9. The event will be dedicated to development cooperation.
Georgian PM Garibashvili together with Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics will participate in one of the high level panel discussions of the event on good governance and the role of effective and responsible institutions in sustainable development of countries.
Garibahsvili will be accompanied to Latvia with Georgia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Tamar Beruchashvili.
