Fog cancels two flights at Tbilisi Airport

Two flights have been cancelled and one has been delayed after thick fog enveloped Tbilisi International Airport today.

An airport spokesperson said: "Due to low visibility caused by heavy fog, the airport is currently experiencing delays to its service."

The fog affected Istanbul-Tbilisi and Dubai-Tbilisi flights, both of which were cancelled.

The Tbilisi-Munich flight was delayed. It is now expected to depart later this afternoon, at 4:40pm.

Passengers were asked to check their flight status.
