Georgia is making closer ties with Israel in education, youth and sporting scopes.
Yesterday Georgia’s Ambassador to Israel Paata Kalandadze signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Israel in an effort to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, youth and sports exchanges for the next three years.
The project aimed to boost the current relationship between Georgia and Israel in the three areas from 2015 to 2018.
The document was signed in Jerusalem at the Israeli Foreign Ministry by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Raphael Gamzou.
At the signing ceremony, the sides expressed hope that the program of cooperation will contribute to the development of bilateral relations and raise awareness of each countries' history and culture, especially among young people.
