Georgias State Chancellery will undergo a major transformation to become part of the Government administration.

Garibashvili said the new administration would be oriented on co-ordinating and effective monitoring of Governmental structures.

"On the one hand, the Chancellery reform is caused by the constitutional changes, where the Prime Ministers power increases significantly, Garibashvili said.

"On the other hand, such a structural reorganisation is caused by the demand for greater efficiency. Therefore, the reorganisation will be focused on the introduction of modern European standards.

Establishment of an effective, transparent and accountable governance remains a top priority, said the Prime Minister.
