The audit commission of the Tbilisi City Assembly (Sakrebulo) has found major financial inaccuracies in the Vake-Saburtalo Gamgeoba district.
Vake-Saburtalo Gamgeoba is one of Tbilisis self-governing executive bodies.
The Head of the commission, Mikheil Kavtaradze, accused the ousted Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava that the company "Tbilisi Group conducted illegal works in Tbilisi without winning the tenders for doing the works.
Tbilisi Group is affiliated to Ugulavas name.
Furthermore, in 2011-2012 "Tbilisi Group was found to have installed touch lamps in the halls of the buildings, worth 672 655 GEL however only 617000 GEL was spent.
It is unknown where the remaining 55 655 GEL went.
"This means that the financial documentations are presented with the break of the law, the audit commission said.
The Vake-Saburtalo Gamgeoba had control of the contact with Tbilisi Group but the audit commission believed that Gamgeoba did not do it.
The Head of the Vake Gamgeoba, Bacho Dolidze, denied the allegations and said people should focus on more serious issues.
"City Hall tries to halt the works of city municipalities that why the Tbilisi City Court did not approve the 2014 city budget last month, Dolidze said.
The audit commission report will be handed to the Prosecutors Office for further investigation.
