A delegation of Georgian officials in Brussels has congratulated the Ukrainian Government on signing the political section of the Association Agreement (AA) with the European Union.
Georgian Speaker of Parliament David Usupashvili, who is attending official meetings in Brussels, told Georgian reporters he participated in a conference with Ukrainian leaders, including Ukraine Foreign Affairs Minister Andrii Deshchytsia and Ukrainian MP Vitaly Klitschko.
"I once again told them what we have said number of times. We continuously expressed our solidarity towards Ukrainian people and today we had the opportunity to congratulate them on signing the political part of the AA,” said Usupashvili.
During his Brussels visit, Usupashvili met NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen and European Council President Herman Van Rompuy.
