Parliament Chairman: Russia showed "incredible aggression" toward Ukraine

The Chairman of Georgia's Parliament Davit Usupashvili says Georgia does not agree with Crimea’s unification with the Russian Federation.

The Parliament speaker made a statement at the plenary sitting of Parliament.

How the situation in Ukraine developed was not wanted by Georgia or the Ukrainian people and the democratic world, Usupashvili stated.

"Russia implemented absolutely incredible aggression of the 21st Century and virtually annexed the territory of Ukraine. I am sure it will not remain like this," he said.

"In this faith, we will continue to work to unite our country," Usupashvili added.
