Georgian embassy in US gets private building

Georgia’s embassy in the United States has its own building.

The consulate announced it had purchased the edifice yesterday.

"14 February, 2014, marked a landmark event – Georgia set up its own Council in the U.S., Washington. We do congratulate our compatriots on this historic event," the Embassy statement read.
