Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili will visit one of the country’s nearest neighbours this month.
Margvelashvili will take part in an official visit to Azerbaijan on February 12 and 13, the President’s press centre announced.
The prospects of improving bilateral and regional cooperation are expected to be discussed during the visit.
This will be President Margvelashvili's first visit to Azerbaijan since he was elected as President last October. The leader replaced Mikheil Saakshvili as Georgia’s President.
