Fifth Georgian man dies in Gebze from alcohol poisoning

A fifth Georgian man has died from alcohol poisoning.    

According to the Rustavi 2 TV channel, the man died in hospital in Turkey.    

He is the fifth Georgian man to die after drinking homemade alcohol.  

The men were working at a construction site in Gebze, near Istanbul. They made the alcoholic drink themselves.  

Two other Georgian men are currently being treated in hospital for alcohol poisoning.    

The Georgian men who died immigrated from Samegrelo, West Georgia, to Turkey.  

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the bodies of the deceased will be transported back to Georgia on Monday.
