A delegation from Georgia’s leading political party has arrived in Europe to engage in meetings with top European officials.
While abroad the Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party representatives will travel to several European Union (EU) countries on their five-day official visit, starting in the Netherlands.
The party’s International Secretary Kakha Kokhreidze and Member of Parliament (MP) Tamar Kordzaia will attend the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity in Amsterdam today and meet forum Secretary General Arjen Berkvens.
Tomorrow the Georgian Dream representatives will travel to Belgium’s capital Brussels and hold meetings in European Parliament. There, Kokhreidze and Kordzaia are scheduled to meet members of the Socialists and Democrats Progressive Alliance Kati Piri, Clare Moody and other Secretariat representatives.
On December 4 the Georgian delegation members will be joined by head of the Georgian Dream fraction Gia Volski and lead political analysis Dimitri Tskitishvili in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
The party members will participate in a Progressive Alliance Conference and meet with representatives of different European countries, an official press release said.
The official visit of Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia delegation will end on December 6.
