Georgia’s positive steps to reform the election process is expected to be revealed in an upcoming human rights report.
The US Ambassador to Georgia, Richard Norland, believed the State Department Report on human rights issues would highlight Georgia’s successes and failures in the human rights sector last year.
"You can be confident that it will reflect a positive electoral process, which observers pointed out, was democratic,” the Ambassador said.
"Furthermore the report will reveal the importance of the rule of law and the legal processes in Georgia. Beside small nuances the picture will be mostly positive,” Norland believed.
