Several flights cancelled at Tbilisi International Airport have been rescheduled, the airport administration says.
Dense fog caused four flights to be cancelled and other flights to be delayed at Tbilisi International Airport early this morning, January 29.
About an hour ago, a flight from Erevan, Armenia, arrived at the airport. Pegasus Airlines have reinstated the registration process to Istanbul.
The Airport’s press centre said all of the cancelled flights should resume and make their destinations however this was dependent on the weather.
Earlier today a flight from Warsaw, Poland, was unable to land at Tbilisi due to dense fog and was forced to reroute to Georgia’s second largest city Kutaisi.
A Pegasus Airline flight from Istanbul and a Lufthansa flight from Munich were forced to return to Istanbul early morning and Munich respectively, as heavy fog prevented them from landing in Tbilisi.
Many passengers were able to change their tickets.
