Georgian homeless and disabled children revelled in the Christmas spirit alongside the countrys president at a special Christmas tree celebration event last night.
Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili hosted the Presidential Christmas Tree celebration event at the historical museum of Karvasla, in Old Tbilisi.
Margvelashvili arrived at Karvasla with his family before he personally lit up the Christmas tree and handed out gifts to the children.
"I have wished the children a happy New Year, Margvelashvili said.
He said every adults New Year wish was to see these childrens joy, and it made everyone happy to see how happy the children were.
During the event children organised and enjoyed numerous performances before Santa Claus arrived and wished a happy New Year to all.
