Georgia’s Foreign Minister to hold high-profile meetings in Germany

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze is on a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany where she is planning to hold a number of high-profile meetings with German authorities.

Panjikidze’s official schedule noted she will meet with Germany’s Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the German Federal Chancellor's Adviser on Foreign and Security Policy Christoph Heusgen.

In addition, the Georgian Minister will meet with the President of Eastern Europe Business Association of Germany Marcus Felsner and participate in a discussion hosted by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs on the topic ‘Georgia on the path of getting closer to European and Euro-Atlantic structures’.

In addition, Panjikidze will deliver a speech to members of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and meet with member of Presidium of the German Society for International Cooperation Christoph Beier.

After that, Panjikidze was scheduled to visit the Westerwelle Foundation and meet with its secretary general Hans-Jürgen Beerfeltz.

Furthermore, the Georgian Minister will give interviews to leading German media outlets within her visit.
