Georgia’s Interior Minister visits the United Kingdom

Georgias Interior Minister Alexandre Chikaidze has begun an official visit to the United Kingdom.

While abroad, the Minister will meet with the heads of Home Office a ministerial department of the United Kingdom Government, responsible for immigration, security, law and order.

He was also due to hold an introductory meeting at the Scotland Yard headquarters.

An official statement outlining his duties while in the UK, said Chikaidze would meet with the director of the National Crime Agency (NCA) at the agencys headquarters, where both parties are due to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, in co-operation with the NCA.

The Ministers visit will end on January 24.
