Georgian U17 footballers score eight unanswered goals

The Georgian National Under 17 football team keeps performing well at the Belarus International Tournament.

At the multi-age group tournament, the young Georgian football players beat the Iran U15 team 8-nil yesterday. Tournament rules allow different age groups to compete against each other.

Giorgi Jobava, a French Auxerres Georgian player, scored two goals in yesterdays match. Currently, he is the tournaments top goal scorer, with five goals.

Tomorrow, January 23, the Georgian team will take on their Lithuanian counterparts in the quarterfinal game.
