The relationship between NATO and Georgia will be discussed during a NATO Military Committee visit to Georgia next month.

The delegation, led by Danish General Knut Bartels, is scheduled to take place on February 11 and 12, according to the Ministry of Defence.

"This visit will give us the unique opportunity to discuss region security and military-political issues. In addition, the NATO high officials will see everything and how much success has been achieved by the Georgian Government, Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze, Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, said.

This meeting was scheduled in November of 2012 but was postponed following the arrest of the former Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Giorgi Kalandadze, charged with abusing power.
