Hundreds follow Georgian President on Twitter

Georgias President has raised his online profile by joining Twitter.

President Giorgi Margvelashvili joined Twitter this morning. In less than two hours he already has more than a hundred followers. Margvelashvili posted his first tweet about 11am this morning under the username @MargvelashviliG.

The Presidents first post read: "Glad to inform that from today I have joined you on Twitter.

Since the leader joined Twitter, he already had 102 followers. His first morning online was very active and throughout the morning he updated his followers with news of his first official visit to Turkey, which started today.
