The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, is coming to Georgia for a two-day official visit.
He is due to arrive in Georgia tomorrow morning.
Georgia’s President Giorgi Margvelashvili will host his Armenian counterpart at the Presidential Palace where the leaders will hold a one-on-one meeting, the President’s Administration announced this evening.
Following their meeting, the leaders will make a joint statement for media.
During his visit Sargsyan will meet the head of Georgia’s Government, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, and they will discuss cooperation between the two countries.
The Armenian President will also meet various Georgian authorities, including Parliament Speaker Davit Usupashvili, and will attend a gala devoted to the 300th anniversary of Armenian poet Sayatnova.
While in Georgia the Armenian President will also lay a wreath at the memorial of the heroes who had died while serving Georgia’s territorial integrity.
Sargsyan’s official visit will end on June 19.
