The Chairman of Georgia’s Parliament Davit Usupashvili has began an official visit to France where he met high officials and spoke at the International Diplomatic Academy.
Usupashvili’s three-day visit began yesterday.
His official schedule noted Usupashvili held meeting with Speaker of the National Assembly of France Claude Bartolone and the President of Senate Jean-Pierre Bel.
The Chairman, accompanied by representatives of Georgian Diaspora, also would visit the Georgian cemetery and Leuville Chateau.
One of his duties in France is to deliver a speech to the International Diplomatic Academy.
On behalf of France-Georgia Friendship Group, Usupashvili attended official dinners at the National Assembly and Senate.
Following this, Usupashvili is set to meet English-speaking political journalists and members of the French general community.
Usupashvili’s agenda will also see him attend a session with French Ministers and participate in a live broadcast with local broadcaster Chanel III.
He will also participate in an English language program on news outlet France-24 and will be a guest on iTele news. He will also give interview to Public Senate Chanel and various newspapers.
The Georgian Chairman’s visit will end on May 7.
