Christmas dreams have come true for many sick children when Santa Claus visited them on New Years Eve.

The Vice-Prime Minister andEnergy Minister Kakha Kaladze, wore a Santa Claus costume when he visited M. Iashvili Childrens Central Hospital last night and surprised children who are suffering with leukemia (cancer of the blood).

The retired footballer-turned politician wished them to get better and gave candies and chocolates to all of the children at the clinic. Kaladze also gave money to the families of the sick children.

Meeting the former footballer was a dream for 17-year-old patient Dimitri Amichba. When they met, Kaladze wished him all the best for 2014.

Kaladze played for AC Milan and was considered the most expensive Georgian footballer.
