European Olympic Committee Delegation visits Tbilisi

The Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili received the President of the European Olympic Committee, Patrick Hickey, in his Business Center.

PM Ivanishvili and the EOC delegation discussed the preparations for the European Youth Olympic Games which will be held at Tbilisi in 2015.

The Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia Levan Kipiani and Chairman of the Commission of European Youth Olympic Festivals Guido De Bondt also attended the meeting. They debated about the future of Georgian sports and development of the Olympic movement in Georgia.

The schedule of the European Olympic Committee representatives, EOC president Patrick Hickey, and Guido De Bondt will attend Tbilisi City Hall at 3:00 pm and the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs two hours later.

The EOC delegation will also hold a meeting with the journalists.
