The special committee began consultations on the President’s Inauguration

The President’s Swearing-In Ceremony will be held in front of the old Parliament Building in Tbilisi

The special committee for the new Presidents Swearing-In Ceremony was established at the government meeting. The committee will make a list of all the cultural and military events for the Inauguration.

According to the Georgian Finance Minister, the new Presidents Swearing-In Ceremony will be financed  by the Government Reserve Fund.

"Unfortunately, the Reserve Fund of President is spent. Thats why the Government Reserve Fund will finance the new Presidents Inauguration, said the Minister of Finance Nodar Khaduri, after the government meeting ended.

The head of the special committee is the Georgias Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and his deputy is the Foreign Minister, Maia Panjikidze. Six Ministries staffs are also involved in the consultations.

Its known that the Presidents Swearing-In Ceremony will be held in Tbilisi. And it would be less pompous than it was previously in 2003 and 2008.

According to Maia Fanjikidze, the special committee will also discuss the invitation of the foreign guests for the Presidential Inauguration.

"The interest is very high towards the Presidents Swearing-In Ceremony abroad. I am one member of the committee and we will discuss how we will invite foreign guest for the Inauguration, said the Foreign Minister, Maia Fanjikidze.

The fi1st consultation of the special committee will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 4:00 pm on October 30.
