The Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili summarized the 2013 year with the representatives of media, public sector, and experts during the New-Year Event at Hotel Radisson Blue Iveria, Tbilisi.

The Prime Minister emphasized that 2014 will be very important for Georgia regarding the European Integration.

"Our European friends have already stated, that Georgia will sign the Association Agreement with the EU before August of 2014. The next year will be the greatest achievement for us and, in addition, it should be the major challenge for the government. Thats why we ought to do our best, because nothing should impact us on our way to Europe. And this process will be a new opportunity for Georgian people. stated Irakli Garibashvili.

The Prime Minister also discussed the presidential elections and appraised it as the one of the most democratic events in Georgia. According to him, these elections were a step forward to the democracy for Georgian society.

"The period of the violence and fear has been ended. The major aim of new government is to establish the rule of law. We have high responsibility toward the society. said the Prime Minister.

Irakli Garibashvli also discussed the strategy of the state for the next year. According to him, Georgia will be an economically strong and interesting country and the best investment place.
