Lithuania’s President:"Your country has passed yet another test of democracy."

The President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskait  congratulated the Georgian president-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili on his victory.

• "Congratulations on your victory in Georgias presidential election. I wish you every success and continued strength at this time of great importance to Georgia. Your country has passed yet another test of democracy. And therefore, I sincerely hope that together we will be able to evaluate Georgias European choice at the forthcoming Vilnius Summit, wrote the President in her message of congratulations on her website.
• The third Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius will be held on the 28-29 November, 2013. On the basis of Eastern partnership initiative EU strengthens bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the six Eastern European partners: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, which supports reforms in these countries and seeks to bring them closer to the EU.
