Georgian President and Prime Minister congratulated Georgian Catholic Christians on Christmas.

"Today, a big part of the Christian world celebrates Christmas. Christs birth is the beginning of European civilization, of an absolutely different culture, of a new attitude towards the world. The birth of Christ of all virtues is a feast of kindness and humanism.I congratulate all our citizens for whom December 25 is a big celebration. I wish them happiness, prosperity, and success in the peaceful Georgia. - Says the statement of PM Irakli Garibashvili.

Giorgi Margvelashvili also released an announcement that says: "Today, Georgian Catholics celebrate Christmas together with the Catholic world.I congratulate them, on this special day, with all my heart.

Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas on January 7th. So the majority of Georgian citizens, dont celebrate Christmas on December 25. Today is the working day in Georgia.
