The Minister of Justice Tea Tsulukiani presented the summary of the annual work results at Tbilisi Marriott, on December 19. She talked about the priorities of the Ministry and the reforms, which were carried out during the last year.

According to the Minister of Justice, within the framework, there are amendments in the judicial system, such as the consecutive sentences aggregation principle and the liberalization of the underage inmates justice system. The Ministry of Justice also established the former inmates re-socialization policy.

"We achieved our goal. The Chief Prosecutors Office became independent and it means that the Chief Prosecutor is not politicized anymore. said Tsulukiani.

The minister discussed the amendments in the Labor Law of Georgia to normalize the relations between the employer and employee. Tsulukiani emphasized the effective work of the legal entities of the Ministry of Justice, such as the National Agency of Public Register, Data Exchange Agency, and National Bureau of Enforcement.
