CEC: “Voters’ turnout at 5:00 pm is 39%, last October it was 57%”

Voters turnout at 5:00 pm was 39%, according to the Central Election Committee.

Speaker of CEC, Eka Azarashvili stated that 1 382017 voters participated in the elections by the time.

The highest turnout occurred in Racha region with 52,4%. Its followed by Guria with 46,4% and Mtskheta-Mtianeti with 41,7%. The lowest amount of citizens voted in Kvemo Kartli region with 31,6%.

In the capital of Georgia the turnout is 40%.

"Last October voters turnout at 5:00 pm was 57% said Eka Azarashvili.

According to CEC, there are 3 537719 voters in Georgia.
