Working brigades still trying to repair electricity in Adjara

The special brigades have been working for over 1-week to repair electricity in mountainous regions of Adjara.

According to the Chief Director of the electricity distributor company Energy-Pro Georgia, Nikolai Nikolov, other working brigades were added to solve the electricity problem in the nearest future.

"We havent had such a troubled situation since the 90s. The severe weather conditions and heavy snow doesnt allow working teams to recover electricity wholly. said Nikolai Nikolov during the special briefing.

The major high voltage transmission lines have already been repaired in Adjara. The electricity will be generally restored during the next ten days.

The travel conditions are still restricted on the highways of West Georgia. The vehicle are only allowed to operate with the anti-skid tire chains.

The National Weather Staten forecast that the weather will begin to improve tomorrow.
