Shelters for homeless to open in regions

Shelters for the homeless will also open in regions, according to the Minister of Healthcare David Sergeenko report.

Sergienko told the journalists that increasing the scale of Homeless Assistance Centers will be discussed today at the governmental meeting.

"The assistance will be oriented on the concrete result, so that not a person is frozen and hungry, announced Sergeenko.

Tbilisi temporary shelters for the homeless hosted the first needy guest which came there at 2 a.m. on December 12.

The night shelters for the vulnerable were arranged by the Georgian Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure.
