Georgian PM and Presidential Candidates vote on Elections 2013

Prime Minister already made his choice on the Presidential Elections 2013. Bidzina Ivanishvili, his wife, and two children voted at polling station #4 in Tbilisi.

"Of course, my whole family and I voted for Giorgi Margvelashvili and the future of Georgia. I want to congratulate the Georgians, as I was informed that people are mobilized and there are lines at the ballot boxes. I was expecting this outcome and Im sure we are capable of making right decisions in balanced situations, said Ivanishvili.&

Georgian Dream candidate, Giorgi Margvelashvili appeared at the elections with his daughter.

"I came here with my daughter and voted for the progress of Georgia, he told reporters after casting his vote in the ballot box. Margvelashvili also said he was happy to vote in the school building where his grandmother used to teach and that his daughter, Ana, participated in elections for the first time.

He also spoke about "consolidation of democracy and of the course that would transform Georgia into a "truly European state. Margvelashvili stressed that preparations for the European Union Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius would be one of his main priorities in case of a victory.

The National Movement presidential candidate, David Bakradze also voted on the elections. He appeared in the Mtatsminda district polling station #27 with his family. Bakradze told journalists that he has voted for the better future of the country.

"I am in a very positive mood. I voted for the stable and better future of the country, for fulfilled promises, and better life for the people, for security of the state and our European Choice, said Bakradze.

Another Presidential candidate, Nino Burjanadze also made her choice. Accompanied by her husband and two sons, she voted at polling station #3 in Tbilisi. Burjanadze hopes that despite some violations, the overall outcome of the elections will be peaceful, fair, and democratic.

"It is important that Georgians vote for the unification of Georgia and construction of a fair country. I want to address everyone who can hear me to switch of the TV, come to the polling stations, and vote for the future of their families, said Burjanadze.&
