"Georgian government discussed the law on local governments, MP Tina Khidasheli told journalists after the meeting with the Prime MinisterIrakliGaribashvili last evening.

As Tina Khidasheli stated, the parliament has only two weeks left to work while numerous laws are introduced by the government meeting that was the reason to consider whether which draft law is more urgent for the government. On today's meeting parties have discussed all the laws starting from the law on local government ending with the draft budget.

"The draft laws were discussed  substantially, as well as the schedule according to which we are moving forward. We have found out what is urgent for the government and what can be delayed for the new year. The main part of the meeting was taken by the law on local government and principle agreement was reached regarding it", Khidasheli said. She believes that the parliament will adopt the law in this year and excludes the possibility for failure of adopting it within three hearings. She said the parliament will start discussing the draft law during this week.
