Usupashvili: “We wish Ukrainian people to realize their free choice”

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament commented on the developments in Ukraine.

David Usupashvili hopes that demonstrations will end peacefully:

"The Results of the developments in Ukraine in recent weeks are still vague. We undoubtedly wish Ukrainian people to realize their free choice and together with us continue moving towards civilized and democratic world. I hope that the processes in Ukraine will end peacefully and according to the will of Ukrainian people. We carefully watch Ukraine from Georgia. On the one hand, it is a domestic issue, but when it comes to democracy, human rights and international values, of course we support the people who are on the side of justice, Constitution and democratic values. Said Usupashvili in his speech on the opening of GUAM Parliamentary Assembly session in Tbilisi.
