Holding two EU forums in Tbilisi were announced.
As the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maia Panjikidze told journalists in Vilnius the EAP Civil Forum will be held in Tbilisi next year.
"Civil Forum is a very important element of the relations with the EU since none of the phases of working on the Association Agreement happened without engagement of the civil society, Panjikidze added.
Also, according to the PM Tina Khidasheli from the ruling party, parliamentary delegations from EU will meet in Georgia for the European Parliamentary Forum next year in August.
"This will happen before signing the Association Agreement in August. I think, it is especially significant that before signing the agreement EU and EAP countries PMs will gather in Georgia and strong will of Georgian people and Government will be reaffirmed. We are systematically and firmly heading towards European family from which we were artificially torn away", - Khidasheli said.
As PM further explained, initial approval of holding the event in Tbilisi already exists and the leadership of the Forum made the formal decision lately.
