Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Chikaidze appointed new deputies.
As the Minister told the media today, Alex Batiashvili - the Ex-deputy Minister has moved to the Ministry of Defense, so he will be replaced by David Khutsishvili, former head of the human resources and procurement department.
The first deputy Minister will be Giorgi Zedelashvili, who previously served as the head of the State Security Agency.
As for Deputy Minister Aleksandre Tabatadze, Chikaidze said he retains his position, but it is still undecided whether he will leave his post or not.
Two deputies, Levan Izoria and Vakhtang Gomelauri will maintain their positions and continue working in the Ministry.
Changes occurred in the Ministry of Justice too.
The Minister Tea Tsulukiani announced that first Deputy Minister David Jandieri will be replaced by Aleksander Baramidze. Baramidze was the Deputy Minister of Justice since 2012.
Other two deputies will remain on their positions.
For the fourth deputy Minister, Tsulukiani presented Mikheil Sarjveladze, who worked as the head of the National Bureau of Enforcement before.
According to Tsulukiani, as the result of evaluating some of the criteria of David Jandieris work, she decided that he will no longer be the Deputy Minister of Justice. Jandieri will not continue working in the Ministry.
